On Thursday July 5, SlowBoat transited the flight of eight locks that connects the Rideau River to the Ottawa River. 
It was sad to wrap up our transit of the beautiful Rideau Canal, but exciting to make such a dramatic exit.You can view a full slideshow of our transit on the SlowBoat Facebook page.
Goodbye Rideau, Hello Ottawa River
From here, we'll be traveling 100 miles along the Ottawa River to Montreal. Who wants to join us for poutine next weekend?
